Shipping (ShedGear ships anywhere within the Contiguous United States)
Calculate Shipping:
Calculate Shipping easily by selecting your items with the 'Add to Cart' button.
The Shopping Cart information will then appear in the right hand column.
Simply enter your Zip Code in the box provided and select 'Estimate'
Your estimated shipping charges will be added into the Shopping Cart with a new Order Total.
The shipping cost for the entire order will then be calculated based on the size and weight of the items.
Shipping Process: Items are Shipped Directly from the massive Suncast warehouse in Batavia Illinois.
Items are shipped in the most cost effective and efficient means available. Smaller items are shipped via parcel post carriers (FedEx, UPS), however all large items (eg; sheds, large cabinets, etc.) due to their weight and size are shipped via truckload carrier.
If for any reason you wish to cancel within the first 24 hours, please call us as soon as possible before the item is shipped, otherwise a stop shipment fee of 5% of the purchase price will be applied to you in order to stop and recover the shipment. To cancel your order, use our CustomerCare@ShedGear.comor simply call us at 888-587-5582. Please include your order number, name, phone number, billing address and items ordered. You will be contacted as soon as possible regarding your cancellation request.
The Shipping Process
- Order Confirmation. An order confirmation email will be sent shortly after the order is placed.
- Shipment. Orders leave the factory or warehouse within 3-5 business days.
- Time of Delivery. Small parcel post shipments usually arrive in a few days.
Large items sent via truckload freight usually require 7-10 days for delivery.
- For large item truckload freight deliveries, the trucking company will call in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries will not be made without an appointment. It is essential that the customer provide an accessible contact telephone number when ordering.
Large truck freight items are off-loaded by the carrier and delivered to the end of the customer driveway (ie; LifteGate Service IS included where applicable)
- Inspection. It is the customers responsibility to inspect the delivery for completeness (number of boxes as stated on delivery form) and to note any damaged containers (if any). Please write any damage comments on the delivery form to be signed both by customer and delivery driver. Please do not refuse shipment if only a small amount of damage is noted, often small parts can be re-shipped much more quickly than an entire order. Any damaged or missing items will be replaced as soon as possible.
